MY FEES As a "wedding minister" or "wedding officiant" in New Jersey, I spend a lot of time helping each couple plan their wedding ceremony. A "good" or "great" wedding ceremony does not happen by itself. It takes a lot of planning and coordination. But there is a big difference in everything between "price" and "cost." If the ceremony gets messed up, the "cost" will be much greater than whatever "price" you paid the officiant. It will cost you less to have a first-class professional, someone you can count on to conduct it properly. I have several kinds of services available. If a couple only wants a short 10-20 minute ceremony, at any location in Northern New Jersey, my fee is negotiable. That includes a short telephone conversation and/or a short personal meeting just prior to the wedding to cover the basics of what they want included in the ceremony. Since Saturdays from June through September are "prime time", I usually reserve those times for couples who will want my "full-service", and I generally will not be available to perform my lower cost services then. The overwhelming majority of couples (over 90%) have wanted a really special wedding ceremony, lasting 20-45 minutes, depending on their wishes. They have chosen to have a celebration of love that is customized and personalized, just for them. In order to do that, I need to meet personally with them for one to two hours at a restaurant. We will go over a 6-page checklist that covers just about anything you can think of. Then I will write up a completely customized wedding "script" for them, with all of their special choices included. Then I will mail, email, or fax it over to them 1-2 weeks before their wedding so they can modify it if needed. I will attend the rehearsal (if there is one) and walk everyone through their parts of the ceremony. As a result, their wedding ceremony will be wonderful, meaningful, and exactly what they want. The price for this "full-service" package starts at $450.00. |

| WELCOME TO MY WEDDING SITE! I can perform weddings and marriage ceremonies indoors or outdoors anywhere in New Jersey. I have married couples in hotels, golf courses, country clubs, restaurants, boats, beaches, private homes, and even in a few churches! Although my specialty is personal and custom ceremonies, I do have "traditional", "non-denominational", or short notice ceremonies available. I would be glad to meet with you and your fiance to begin planning your big day! If you live outside the New Jersey area, or have a really busy schedule, we can do a telephone interview instead of a meeting. But I prefer a meeting if possible. Many couples today don't want a "generic" ceremony, one that looks and sounds like everyone else's. Based on what we discuss, your ceremony will be uniquely yours by being completely personalized and customized. And if you wish, I will include some of the high points of your own romantic "love story." I will say this for the benefit of your family and friends, who love you and care about you, but may not know your story. However, I will only share things about you that you choose, and in the way you want it to be remembered. But I won't guess what you want said and done. I will provide you a complete written "script" in plenty of time before your wedding for you to review and approve. I'd like to be the minister ("wedding officiant") you choose to help you get married! I am an ordained minister and have a graduate degree in religion from Drew University Theological School. I have performed many weddings in New Jersey, Pennsyvannia and Oregon. Note: I do not perform "arranged" marriages (i.e. forced against a person's will), or any other ceremony that is not recognized as legal in the state of New Jersey. I can perform such things as marriage vow renewals, funerals or baby blessings as they are generally accepted ministerial practices, and have no legal ramifications. |
